Edna Perdue Beeson

KERNERSVILLE- Edna Perdue Beeson, 82, passed away July 23, 2016 at Kernersville Medical Center. She was born on May 13, 1934 in Rockingham County to the late Ezra Odell Perdue and Lizzie Everett Perdue.
Mrs. Beeson was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and she loved writing poetry.
In addition to her parents Edna is preceded in death by her husband, Roger Joyce Beeson; sisters Ruby Shields and Annie Mae Needham.
Surviving are her son, Scott B. Beeson of Kernersville; two brothers, Junior Perdue and his wife, a very special friend and sister in law Gayle Perdue of Kernersville and Lewis Perdue and wife Edna Perdue of Yukon, Oklahoma.
A funeral service will be held 11:00AM, Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Hillcrest Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Mt. Gur Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00PM, Monday July 25, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
