Edith "Edie" Lorraine Foss

Miss Edith “Edie” Lorraine Foss, 84, of Winston-Salem, NC, went to her heavenly home on December 13, 2020.  Edie was born on May 9, 1936, in Machias, Maine, daughter of the late Alexander and Viola (Ackley) Foss.  Edie made her home with her sister, Mary Ellen and husband, Gary Marshall of Winston-Salem, NC.  Edie loved the Lord, music, and animals.  She was a life member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 9010 in Clemmons, NC.  Edie had many special friends that she loved and that loved her dearly.  In addition to her parents, Edie was preceded in death by four brothers, Alexander Foss, Jr., Harry Foss, Sr., Auldin Foss, and Roger Foss; and two sisters, Myrtle McLauglin and Marie Smith.  Interment will be in the Spring of 2021 at Jacksonville Cemetery in East Machias, Maine. Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is serving the family of Miss Foss.
