Mrs. Edith Brendle Snow, 91, of Lewisville, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018 at her home. She was born April 15, 1926 in Surry County to Lilly Mae and Wesley Harvey Brendle. Mrs. Snow was a member of Wyo Bible Methodist Church in Yadkin County. Edith was the oldest of seven children and was preceded in death by her husband, Arvel D. Snow and five siblings. Surviving are her daughter, Joy Beaver and husband Bob; two sons, Wesley Snow and wife Mary Jane and Dan Snow and wife Diana; five grandchildren, Shannon Langdon and husband Jeff, Amy Snow, Derek Snow, Leah Leffler and husband Zack and Brian Beaver and wife Gabi; three great grandchildren, Jackson, Mason and Lilly Langdon and one on the way, Baby Leffler. Edith was also survived by her two siblings, Marie Wagoner and husband Adrian and W.L. Brendle and wife JoAnn. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. David Stetler officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Salem Baptist Church, 430 Rockford Rd., Dobson, NC. Memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Proverbs 31:28- Her children arise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
