Mrs. Edith B. Pegram, 97, of Clemmons, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016.
Edith was born September 10, 1919 in Davie County to the late Hugh and Annie Boger. She was a homemaker and enjoyed traveling across the U.S., Mexico, and Europe with her husband. She also enjoyed vegetable gardening and flower gardening. In addition to her parents, Edith was preceded in death by her husband, James William Pegram and sisters, Linda Boger, Mary Hauser, and Mildred Edwards.
Edith is survived by her daughter, Patricia Pegram Council of Pfafftown; son, Kenneth E. Pegram and wife Shirley of Clemmons; and grandchildren, Stacy Council Rich and husband Joe of Winston-Salem and Sheri Renee Pegram of Clemmons.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at 11 am at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel with Pastor Bob McCaskill officiating. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Westlawn Gardens of Memory.
