Eddie Hale, Sr.

Mr. Eddie Hale, Sr., 77, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away on November 8, 2023, at his home.

He was born on July 22, 1946, in Forsyth County, NC, to the late Norman Walter Hale, Sr., and Ethel Southern Hale.

Eddie served in the US Army, serving in the Vietnam War. He then went on to work for Stroh’s Brewing for 29 years, and Pepsi Bottling Ventures for 13 years.

In addition to his parents, Eddie was preceded in death by his two brothers, Norman Walter Hale, Jr. and Stephen Hale; sister, Norma “Flooty” Swift; brother-in-law, Herman Swift; sister-in-law, Linda Patterson, and granddaughter, Gentry Alayna Hale.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 53 years, Shirley Livingston Hale; his two sons, Eddie “Butch” (Becky) Hale, Jr. and Jason (Erica) Hale; and grandchildren, Ashley, Alexis, Samuel, Levi, and Lennox Hale.
