Mrs. Earline Teague Henderson passed away at her home on Friday, July 3, 2015. She was born on September 28, 1926 to Bessie Elizabeth Newsome Teague and Hobart Franklin Teague in Winston-Salem. Earline was brought up in the Moravian tradition and upon marriage became a member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church. She and her husband, Bill, met while working at Western Electric. After their two children were born she then served for 45 years in the nursery ministry. Earline was a marvelous cook, talented seamstress, immaculate housekeeper and gardener. But mostly, she will be remembered as a gentle soul who read her Bible daily and spread kindness everywhere she went. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 65 years, Bill Carroll Henderson; and son, Steven Carroll Henderson. Surviving is her daughter, Deborah Lynn Henderson; as well as a sister, Martha Ridings; and her very special canine companion, ""Doodles."" A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, July 6, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Gus Thomas and Dr. Cecil Cave officiating. Interment will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
