Mr. Earley Franklin Lumley, 84, of Winston-Salem, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Bermuda Commons. He was born November 5, 1926 in Forsyth County to the late Earley E. and Lula May Everhart Lumley. Mr. Lumley was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from Hanes Dye and Finishing with several years of service. He was of the Baptist faith, member of the Moose Lodge, and a member on a bowling team. Preceding him in death was his wife, Mattie Louise Nelson Lumley. Surviving are a son, Franklin ""Frankie"" Lumley; two step-daughters, Brenda Dennis and husband Phil of Winston-Salem and Judy Mudd of Raleigh; also surviving are several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Monday, January 24, 2011 at Parklawn Memorial Park with Rev. James C. Newsome, Jr. officiating.
