Earl Michael Henderson

Mr. Earl Michael Henderson, 59, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2008 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born September 15, 1949 in Surry County, the son of the late, Earl and Anna Henderson. For 35 years Mike traveled around North Carolina and Virginia as a Whole Sale Parts Representative; the last few years have been a joy to him working for Modern Automotive. He loved working on cars, traveling, and attending car shows with his family. Sissy, Mike's beloved Chihuahua, also stayed at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home with the family, right by his side. Mike was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his wife Rhonda; two daughters Michaela Henderson of the home and Misty Henderson of Boonville; a granddaughter Shayla Henderson of Boonville; a brother Johnny Henderson and wife Jewell of Reidsville; a devoted sister-in-law Alicia Drake of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; a special friend Debbie Beck of W-S; and six nieces. A memorial service will be held on Thursday October 23 at 7:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
