Earl Junior Brewster

Mr. Earl Junior Brewster, 87, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born October 23, 1927 in Bluefield, WV to the late Alice Combs Brewster and Linville Brewster. Mr. Brewster proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He retired from Hennis, Spector, & Pilot. Mr. Brewster enjoyed working in the yard, working on cars, playing golf, and fishing. In addition to his parents, Mr. Brewster was preceded in death by his wife, Lorine Wymer Brewster. Surviving are his son, John Brewster (Linda) of King; daughter, Brenda Galyean of King; three grandchildren: Robert Mason (Dana) of Elkin, Chris Galyean (Christa) of Kernersville, and Ashton Brewster of King; three great-grandchildren: James Mason, Mara Mason, and Ethan ""Littleman"" Reid. A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 19 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Pastor Gary Styers officiating.
