Dwayne Lee Goff, 61, of Asheboro, North Carolina passed away at his home Friday, January 8, 2010. He was born November 11, 1948 in Henrietta, Oklahoma. Dwayne loved life and lived it fully. Growing up in California, he was passionate about anything with wheels, which led him to his love of cars, motorcycles and racing. Among his favorite memories were times with the Marauders Motorcycle Club and Kanyon Kreepers Jeep Club. A mountain man at heart, his hobbies included camping, fishing and target shooting. He also loved playing his guitar. With intelligence, wit and a contagious sense of humor, Dwayne never met a stranger. Everyone who met him felt instantly at ease in his presence and adored his irreverent personality. Dwayne was a loving and faithful husband, an amazing father, playful grandfather, devoted son and loyal friend. He is survived by his wife, Glenda Goff; former wife Lynda Goff; children Christy Nebesio (Todd), Carey Goff and Patrick Goff; step children Tina Llewellyn (David), Bud McKnight (Tammy), and Rodney McKnight (Jennifer); grandchildren William and Carter; step-grandchildren William, Devin, Harley, Brandon, Ian, Jilliane and Nicholas; mother June (Goff) Goins; brother Wayne Goff. A memorial service will be held at noon, Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home at 3315 Silas Creek Parkway in Winston-Salem. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and/or Hospice of Randolph County.
