Dustin Cody Simpson

Mr. Dustin Cody Simpson, 24, passed away July 11, 2014 at High Point Regional Hospital. He was born August 23, 1989 in Forsyth County to Varcial Lee Simpson and Donna Jones Simpson. He was a graduate of Ledford Senior High School. Dustin took flying lessons at Smith Reynolds Airport and attended the T. H. Davis Aviation Center at Guilford Technical Community College. He loved hiking, camping, and being outdoors. He loved sports and especially liked the Carolina Panthers. He is survived by his parents, Lee and Donna Simpson; his sister, Danielle Douglas and husband Brandon; his brother, Dylan Simpson; his cousin and best friend, Jonny Murray. He is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles. A celebration of Dustin's life will be held at 4:00pm, Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Mark Brookhart and Pastor Jim Bishop officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at High Point Regional Hospital for their care and compassion and to all the friends and family for their love and support.
