Dr. Christine Angela Rouse

Dr. Christine Angela ""Chris"" Rouse, PhD. 50 of Winston-Salem, died Thursday, October 30, 2008 at her home. Dr. Rouse was born July 7, 1958 in LeMars, Iowa the daughter of Thomas Rouse and Bonnie Biggerstaff Rouse both of Vermilion, SD. She received her undergraduate degree from The University of South Dakota and her master's degree from The University of Kansas. Her Doctorate of Chemistry was earned at Kent State University. She spent 17 years as a Master Chemist at R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. In addition to her parents she is survived by her aunt and godmother, Velma Jahn, special friends, Yvonne and Scott English. A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Bill Chatman officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
