Dr. David Conley McKinney

Dr. David Conley McKinney, 52 of Winston-Salem died Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. David was born April 13, 1958 in Mitchell County, the son of the late Conley McKinney and the late Anita Carpenter McKinney. He earned his Doctorate in Music from UNC-G and was a well known Piano Instructor. He was also an accomplished Pastry Chef. One of the joys of his life was visiting and playing the piano at local retirement homes. He will be missed by all his friends. He is survived by his sister, Susan Wheeler and fianc郩 Lt. Louis LeFoy; nephew Justin Buchanan and wife Jessica; and niece, Morgan Wheeler. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, May 2, 2010 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Chaplain G.L. Brown officiating.
