Dr. Vaughn Dale Hildebrandt

Dr. Vaughn Dale Hildebrandt, 89, of Winston-Salem passed away Saturday, March 20, 2010 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born March 2, 1921 in Wayne County, MI. to Henry Martin and Minnie Reeck Hildebrandt. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Army and later moved to Winston-Salem in 1965. Dr. Hildebrandt retired from RJR Archer after 21 years of service. Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Pat Hildebrandt; four children; a daughter, Sue Moyer (Dick) of Gainesville, Fl., a daughter, Carol Larsen (Kurt) of Grand Junction, CO, a son, Bill Hildebrandt (Barbara) of Winston-Salem and a daughter, Dale Hildebrandt (Sandy) of Reno, NV.; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and a brother, Lynn Hildebrandt (Dot) of Burlington, CO. A private celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care, 101 Hospice Lane, W-S, N.C. 27103.
