Douglas L. Spach

Mr. Douglas L. Spach, 80 years old of Winston-Salem, passed away Thursday September 27, 2012. He was born on February 26, 1932 in Forsyth County. Douglas was a proud Navy Veteran and served in the Korean War. Surviving are his loving wife Bobbie Spach; three loving daughters, Gail Church, Diann Spencer; and Tina Spach; adopted son Harold Sykes; brother Curtis Allen Spach, Jr.; sister Sis Nyswonger; four grandchildren Brent Church and wife Sabrina, Crystal Esterly, Ashley Sykes and fiancé Chris Medford, and Daniel Sykes; three great grand children Misty Gizinski, Tyler Esterly, and Autumn Esterly; and one great granddaughter on the way. Douglas will be forever loved and greatly missed. A Funeral Service service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, October 1, 2012 at Berean Baptist Church with Dr. Ron Baity officiating. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Sunday evening at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
