Dorsey Dermott Stimson, Jr.

Lewisville Mr. Dorsey Dermott Stimson, Jr., passed away Friday, May 9, 2014 at his home. He was born February 15, 1941 in Forsyth County to the late Dorsey Dermott Stimson, Sr. and Mildred Woosley Stimson. He was a loving father and grandfather. Mr. Stimson was a gentle and kind man who was a friend to all. Preceding him in death was his wife, Jane Boles Stimson and a daughter, Tammy Stimson. Surviving is a son, Daren Stimson (Maria) of Lewisville; two grandchildren, Cody Stimson and Kaitlyn Stimson; sister, Carolyn Shore; devoted uncle, Duran Stimson (Doris); aunt, Mary Sheppard and his beloved dog, ""Molly."" A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Lewisville Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. George Smith and Rev. Jo C. Bjorling officiating. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Tuesday at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel.
