Dorothy Tilley Fulp

Mrs. Dorothy Tilley Fulp, 95, of Clemmons, NC, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021.  Dorothy was born in Forsyth County on June 13, 1925, to the late Garland Groomes Tilley and Lucy Mitchell Tilley.  She was a member of Faith Chapel.  Dorothy was employed with the WS/FC School System in the food services department for over 20 years.  Following her departure from the school system, she went to work at Dewey’s Bakery, retiring as an Assistant Manager after 19 years of service.  In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Fulp.  She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Fulp Yarbrough (Gary) of Mocksville, NC; one son, Garland Keith Fulp of Winston-Salem; two grandsons, Jason B. Yarbrough (J.J.) of Davidson County and J. Brooks Yarbrough of Florida; and three great-grandchildren, Alex, Ethan, and Seth Yarbrough.  Graveside Services for Dorothy will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 4, 2021, at the Forsyth Memorial Park Gazebo, with Pastor Eric Bradshaw and Mr. Tim Dunn officiating.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or Trinity Elms Health & Rehab, 7449 Fair Oaks Drive, Clemmons, NC 27012.  Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is serving the family of Mrs. Fulp.
