Dorothy J. Myers

Mrs. Dorothy J. Myers, 93, passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021. She was born on June 19, 1927 in Forsyth County to Pleasant Jones and Lily Mae Jones. Dorothy loved animals, gardening, working with flowers, and she enjoyed fishing at the coast. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Rufus Myers, Jr. and brothers, Frank Jones and Sidney Jones. Surviving are her son, James “Randy” Randall Myers and wife, Lisa. A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Westlawn Gardens of Memory Mausoleum Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the mausoleum chapel.
