Dorothy Mae Renegar

Dorothy Mae Renegar, 98, of Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away December 5, 2024, at her home. Ms. Renegar was born October 3, 1926, in Forsyth County, to Charles Renegar and Pearl Gladys Miller Renegar. After 42 years of service, she retired from Western Electric as a supervisor. She was of the Baptist faith and was at church anytime the door was open. Although she was small, she was determined and remained strong for many years. Dorothy was an animal-lover who had a soft spot in her heart for all dogs. She enjoyed getting out of the house whenever she could and always started off her day with sweets and coffee. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and beloved little brother, Charles, Jr. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Nancy Howard; her grandson, Mickey Clinard Jr. (Amy); two great-granddaughters, Sydney Clinard, and Hailey Jo Clinard; and four nieces. Also surviving is her canine companion, Tico. A graveside service will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Westlawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Jim Burton officiating.
