Dorothy Louise Beaver Prater

Mrs. Dorothy Louise Beaver Prater, age 79 of Germanton passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. Mrs. Prater was born in Marion County, Ohio and was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in King. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by one sister and one brother. Surviving are two daughters; Cheryl Prater of Germanton and Karla (Randy) Kiger of North Wilkesboro. Three sons: Rodney Prater of Walnut Cove, Jackie Prater of King and Vincent Prater of Pinnacle. Six grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren. One brother, Don (Judy) Beaver of Ohio. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home Chapel in Rural Hall by Rev. Carl Goodman. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery in King. The family will recieve friends at the funeral home Friday evening April 5th from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M.
