Dorothy Slade Paschal

Dorothy Slade Paschal passed away at Forsyth Medical Center on Tuesday, April 22, 2014. Dorothy was born on December 23, 1930 to Thomas H. Slade and Layla Stanley Slade in Winston-Salem. Dorothy enjoyed the beauty of the outdoors. She loved spending time by the water, either at the lake or the beach. And she took great pride in caring for her beautiful flowers and raising vegetables in her garden. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Paul L. Paschal, Jr.; and her sister, Elizabeth Ann Slade. Survivors include her son, David Slade Paschal and his wife, Marilyn; daughter, Jean Paschal Fullerton; grandchildren, David Slade Paschal, Jr. and his wife, Emily of Calhoun, GA; Justin Steele Paschal and his wife, Ashley; as well as her two cherished great grandchildren, Charlotte Steele Paschal and David Knox Paschal; and her beloved dog, Betsy. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Forsyth Memorial Park with Rev. Ernie Plemmons officiating.
