Dorothy Luther Noell

Mrs. Dorothy Luther Noell, 91, of Winston-Salem died Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Kate Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born June 11, 1919 in Cass County, KA, the daughter of the late Otto Martin and Mamie Holmes Luther. Mrs. Noell was a member of Clemmons Moravian Church and a past member of The Pilot Club of Winston-Salem. She retired from Forsyth County Government with over 20 years of service. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Bennett Noell, Jr. Survivors include one son, Archie ""Buzz"" Noell and wife, Tracy of Winston-Salem; two daughters, Dot N. Anderson and husband, Jim of Greensboro and Fran Blank of Plano, TX; six grandchildren, Fran McMeekin, Jan White, Beth Armstrong, Cameron and Josh Blank and Kelsey Noell; and six great grandchildren, Jack, Ellie and Ivy Armstrong, Lillian and Henry McMeekin and Ethan White. The funeral service will be conducted Thursday, August 19, 2010 at 7:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Ray Burke officiating.
