Dorothy Jane Caauwe McCardle

Winston-Salem, NC: McCardle: Dorothy Jane Caauwe McCardle, 84 of Winston-Salem passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2009. Mrs. McCardle was born October 20, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Peter and Elizabeth Caauwe. She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Coppers Cove, Texas and was preceded in death by her husband, John McCardle. Surviving to cherish her memory are three children; a son, John McCardle of Winston-Salem, two daughters; Suzan (Richard) Foster of Bryan, Texas, Melodee (Harvey) Freeman of Winston-Salem; three grandchildren; Jon Freeman, Tami Freeman, Holly Foster; two great grandchildren; Trevor Coomer, Greer Rumley and a dear friend, Rose Yoder. The McCardle Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Saturday, October 31 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
