Dorothy Isley Long

Mrs. Dorothy Isley Long, 93, of Winston-Salem passed away Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. She was born March 6, 1919 in Rockingham County to William Buddy and Lou Murphy Isley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Long and a daughter, Lorraine Cecil. Surviving are a daughter, Janice Billings of Winston-Salem; three sons, Jerry Long and wife, Janice of Lexington, Samuel Long and wife, Ann and Dr. Joe Long and wife, Beverly, all of Winston-Salem; 14 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Parklawn Memorial Park with Dr. Joe Long officiating.
