Dorothy Norman Landreth

WALKERTOWN-Dorothy Elizabeth Norman Landreth, 76, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2009 at her home. She was born August 6, 1932 in Forsyth Co. to the late Willie Lee and Hattie Agnes Harper Norman. Dorothy was a member of Kerwin Baptist Church for over 40 years. She retired from US Airways (Piedmont Airlines) with 20 years of service. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Carson Daniel Landreth; and two brothers. Surviving are two sons, Carson ""Joel"" Landreth and wife Dana of Kernersville, and Eric Dale Landreth and wife Debbie of Walkertown; three sisters, Lora Lea Landreth of Kernersville, Modelle Agnes Beachamp of Lewisville, and Alda Zena Gordon of Advance; one brother, Henry S. Norman of Winston Salem; and four grandchildren, Jacob Landreth and wife Lori, and Holly Landreth all of Greensboro, Hannah Landreth and Eric Landreth, Jr. both of Kernersville. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am Wednesday, January 28, 2009 Hayworth Miller Funeral Home Kernersville Chapel with Dr. Joe Myers officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 7-9 pm Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at the funeral home.
