Mrs. Dorothy Lee Rhodes Dezarn, 81, passed away Friday, April 14, 2017 at Rose Tara Assisted Living in King. She was born in Forsyth Co. on June 9, 1935 the daughter of the late Charles Rhodes and Adelene Groce Rhodes. Mrs. Dezarn loved the Lord and taught her children to do the same. She was a member of Woodland Baptist Church, where she attended faithfully as long as her health permitted. Mrs. Dezarn is survived by three sons, Randy Dezarn (Mandy), Keith Dezarn (Tammy) and Todd Hillred Dezarn (Laura); three grandchildren, Patrick Randall Dezarn, Hannah Elyse Dezarn and Amanda Susan Dezarn; one sister, Janie Hall and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 p.m. Monday evening, April 17, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel in Rural Hall with Pastor Tim Gammons officiating. A committal service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends immediately following the service Monday evening at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Rose Tara and Mountain Valley Hospice for the special care they gave to their mother. They would also like to thank Gentiva for the care that they have shown in her time of need.
