Dorothy Cousiamono

Mrs. Dorothy Hayes Cousiamono, 100, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away Monday, September 21, 2020 at Trellis Supportive Care. She was born February 20, 1920 in Forsyth County to Ada Virginia Knouse Hayes and Newton Leander Hayes. Mrs. Cousiamono was a long time member of Rosemont Baptist Church and was a veteran who served in the U.S. Army. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Cousiamono, Jr. and leaves to cherish and miss her dearly her six children, Frank Cousiamono, Burnett Lee Cousiamono, Angelina Bass, Bonnie Jo Thompson and husband Frank, Fay Cousiamono and Kay Eason; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Rosemont Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Reed officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park.
