Dorothy ""Dot"" Brown Clemmons, 74, of Southside in Winston-Salem passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at her home. She was born August 1936 in Forsyth County to Early and Letha Dezern Brown. Dot loved dogs, was hard-working and willing to help anyone in need. She was the most precious Mama and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and one sister. Surviving is a Fiance, Robert Bunn; daughter, Vicki Clemmons; sister, Hilda Moore; special nieces, Tuttie, Jerri and Debbie, host of nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 12 at Parklawn Memorial Park with Rev. James Demby officiating. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Friday, February 11 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to the staff of Hospice.
