Dorothy Robertson Brewer

Mrs. Dorothy Robertson Brewer, 92, formerly of Clemmons, died Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, TN. She was born July 26, 1918 in Forsyth County, the daughter of the late, William M. and Bertha Woodie Robertson. Mrs. Brewer was an active lifelong member of Fraternity Church of the Brethren where she taught Sunday school and was a Deaconess. She was a Girl Scout Leader for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Brewer and two sisters, Mary Pickett and Ella Mae Church. Survivors include one son, Bill Brewer and wife, Sandra of Hayes, VA; one daughter, Betty Bright and husband, Norman of Brentwood, TN; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 10:30 AM at Fraternity Church of the Brethren with Pastor David Kindy officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
