Dorothy Bell

Mrs. Dorothy Collins Bell, 100, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice home in Winston-Salem. She was born in Jackson, VA on August 2, 1917 the daughter of the late Willis Collins and Sallie Atkins Collins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Bell; a son, Calvin Bell; and all nine of her siblings. Mrs. Bell is survived by her daughter, Linda Martin (Walter); a daughter-in-law, Sharon Bell; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was an avid seamstress and flower gardener. A graveside service will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2018 at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall with Mr. Andy Crissman officiating.
