Dorothy Mabe Ball

Dorothy Mabe Ball, 87, died on April 16, 2017 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Dot was the daughter of Grady and Katherine Mabe. She was predeceased by her parents; a son, Ronnie Oakley; two brothers, Bill and Jack Mabe; a granddaughter, Kimberly Kielty; and a great grandchild, Baby Klinglesmith. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Kielty (Marc); two sisters, Peggy Isley (Jerry) and Dianne Boles (Harry); two brothers, Glenn Mabe (Judy) and Wayne Mabe (Brenda); granddaughter Kristin Klinglesmith (Kevin); great granddaughter, Courtney; daughter-in-law, Vicky Tisdale; sister-in-laws Mildred and Valena Mabe; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday April, 18, 2017 at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Beverly Landreth officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Parklawn Mausoleum Chapel. Karen and Marc would like to thank Peggy, Dianne, Glenn and Wayne for their loving assistance in Dot's care; and for the support of Dr. Denise Laurienti, MD, and all of Dot's friends at Robinwood. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice & Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
