Doris Robinson

Mrs. Doris Venetta Palmer Robinson, 93, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2022.  She was born July 23, 1929, in Forsyth County to the late Charles Palmer and Sallie Grogan Palmer. Doris was an avid hockey fan, Booster Club President for the Winston Salem Spirits and Carolina Thunderbirds.  She was Honorary Past Imperial Commandress, Past Imperial Deputy for the Desert of NC, Pass Imperial Deputy for the Oasis of WInston-Salem, and Past Commandress of Sethos Court no.105. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Romeo Robinson.

Surviving are her son, R. J. Robinson, and wife Elizabeth, three grandchildren, Garrett and wife Kelsey, Noah, and Layla Robinson, a nephew, Charles Coleman, and two nieces, Iretta Kearse, and Venetta Coleman.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, July 30, 2022, Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. Burial will follow in Mt. Gur Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
