Doris Grey Parrish Norris

Doris P. Norris, 77, died Wednesday, December 14, 2011 in her sleep at Southfork Assisted Living, where she had many friends and loved living there. She was born May 24, 1934 in Smithfield, NC to the late Shepherd and Edith Massengill Parrish. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Lee Norris and a son, Ronnie Norris. She is survived by a son, Michael Norris and wife, Lynn, two daughters, Pamela Hodges and husband,Jerry, Bridget Dellinger and husband, Curtis, 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and two brothers, Seba and Donald Parrish. A Graveside Service will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, December 16, 2011 in the Oaklawn Memorial Park officiated by Mr. Wayne Gilley and Rev. Devy Nanloy In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Senior Services Inc., 2895 Shorefair Drive, Winston-Salem, NC 27105. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff and residents of Southfork for all the loving care given to our mom.
