Mrs. Doris Mills Herman, 72, passed away Monday, August 24, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born in Mt. Airy, NC on August 2, 1943 to the late Wilmer and Harriet Stamey Mills. Surviving is her husband, Thomas E. Herman; three children, son, Russ Herman, daughter, Sherri Mayo, and a son, Thomas A. Herman (Weslyn); four grandchildren, Brooke, Taylor, Cole Herman, and Ashley Mayo; also surviving is a brother, Bobby Stamey and two sisters, Frances Davis and Mary Reavis. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Westlawn Gardens of Memory with Pastor Josh Hill officiating.
