Mrs. Doris Campbell Cumbo, 93, of Winston-Salem, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017, at her home. Doris was born March 28, 1923 in Forsyth County to Wade and Nellie Mullican Campbell. She graduated first in her high school class at Clemmons school. Doris married Horace Lee Cumbo in September of 1942. She was employed at RJ Reynolds in the Executive Offices and retired from Shareholder Services. She was a loving and supportive daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 41 years. She is survived by her two children, Mike Cumbo (Cheryl) of High Point and Carol Cumbo Roberts (Terrance) of Siloam Springs, AK; four grandchildren, April Cumbo King (Brian) of Raleigh, Jeremy Cumbo of Atlanta, GA, Monty Roberts of Fayetteville, AK, and Ryan Roberts of Mandeville, LA; five great-grandchildren, Jameson and Josephine Kind, Carter, Kendall and Mason Roberts; and cousin Burton Boner (Nancy) of Clemmons. A funeral service will be held Monday, February 13, 2017, at 2:00pm, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Douglas Rights officiating.
