Mrs. Doris Cline, 86, of Winston-Salem passed away peacefully as she made her way into the arms of Jesus on May 30, 2016. Doris was born in Forsyth County to the late William David Plowman and Dovie Plowman on October 7, 1929. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Rufus Cline, daughter Carol Cline and baby, Deanna Cline. Doris retired from RJ Reynolds after 37 years of service. After retiring she enjoyed traveling, camping and working on her crafts. Family left to cherish their memories of her are two daughters, Jean Brewer and husband Ray, Patsy Black; a son, Charles Cline and wife Robin. She had six grandchildren, Tracy Williams and boyfriend, Terry Cook, Jason Williams and wife Wendy, Matthew Black, Anna Black, Krissy Swaim and husband Derrick, Nicholas Cline and wife, Jennifer. She also had eight great grandchildren. A celebration of Doris's life will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Claudie Harrison and Rev. Jason Holley officiating. Burial will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
