Donnie Sue Maynard Vestal

Mrs. Donnie Sue Maynard Vestal, 80, of Winston-Salem passed away Friday, November 2, 2012 at Clemmons Nursing and Rehab. She was born March 29, 1932 to Tyre Glen and Rebecca Hutchens Maynard. Mrs. Vestal retired from Forsyth County School Cafeteria System. She was a member of South Fork Baptist Church and sang in the choir as long as she was able to attend. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Vestal was preceded in death by her parents; six sisters, Mary Watson, Maud Boggs, Mable Johnson, Mildred Wooten, Pauline Matthews, and Nancy Baity; two brothers, Forest Maynard, John Maynard. She is survived by her husband Blaine Vestal, a daughter, Dawn Lefeavers (Joe); a son, Brian Vestal (Cindy); two granddaughters, Michelle Lefeavers Kahill (Chace) and Stacie Lefeavers; a grandson, Adam Vestal; A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 pm Monday, November 5, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with the Rev. Rick Sewell officiating. Burial will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family would like to send a special thanks to the staff of Clemmons Nursing and Rehab for the loving care they gave Mrs. Vestal.
