Donna Angell Nash

WINSTON-SALEM-Mrs. Donna Angell Nash, 43, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Nash was born on August 13, 1969 in Forsyth County to Floyd Everette Angell, Sr. and Marjorie Sparks Angell. Donna was a lifetime resident of Sedge Garden. She was a 1987 graduate of Glenn High School and later earned a B.S. in Broadcast Cinema from UNC-Greensboro. She dedicated the last 12 years to Wachovia Bank and its successor, Wells Fargo Bank, rising to a manager position in its commercial lending division. Donna grew up singing southern gospel music with her family. She loved performing at church and at family gatherings. She and her husband frequently traveled on cruises and road trips. Donna could be found in her flower garden often. She dearly loved her family and always kept an open door for them. Her nieces and nephews were all her favorites and they all adored her for her love and generosity. Donna accepted God's gift of salvation at an early age and kept her faith through many trials. Though she lost her children and then a few years later was diagnosed with cancer, she held fast to her trust in the Lord God and that His purpose would be glorified. Donna was preceded in death by one son, Will Nash; two daughters, Ann Marie and Stacee Nash and her father, Floyd Everette Angell, Sr. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Wayne Nash of the home; her mother, Marjorie Sparks Angell of Winston-Salem; two brothers, Everette Angell, Jr. (Dana) of Orlando, Florida and Tom Angell (Brenda) of Lexington, NC; one sister, Pam Harrell (Dennis) of Lexington, NC; and many beloved nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at The Summit Church in Kernersville, NC with Rev. Jonathan Robbins officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
