Mrs. Donna Jean Ross House Coffman, 68, of Winston-Salem passed away Friday, December 18, 2009 at her home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Coffman was born in Frostburg, MD on May 6, 1941 to Lewis Webster and Martha Richardson Ross. She was a member of Winston-Salem First Assembly and was currently attending Family Tabernacle Assembly of God. Mrs. Coffman retired from Forsyth Medical Center with 21 years of service. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time and caring for her family, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Coffman was preceded in death by her parents; a sister Ruth Ann; her first husband, James David House; a grandson, Corey Andrew House; and a brother-in-law Wayne Rice. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Lee Coffman of the home; three daughters Pamela Lynn Landis and husband Michael of Winston-Salem, Janice Lee House and special friend Robert Radcliffe of Grantsville, MD, and Dawn Marie Prince and husband Jimmy of East Bend; five grandchildren, James David and Robert Micheal Landis, Kendra House Caudle and her husband Michael, Brittany M. Gough, Jamie Brent Prince; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bonnie Rice of Grahamtown, MD and Ruth Ann Davis of Frisco, TX; two brothers, Lewis Ross and wife Marsue of Hancock, MD and Howard Ross and wife Debbie of Frostburg, MD; and a host of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted 7:00 PM Monday, December 21, 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with the Pastor Allison Reavis officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.A burial will be conducted at Davis Memorial Cemetery in Cumberland, MD.
