Donna Cable

Donna Mullins Cable, 69, of Winston-Salem, was called to Heaven on April 24, 2022, at Summerstone Health and Rehabilitation.  Donna was born on April 1, 1953, in Pineville, WV to the late Joseph and Hattie Mae Mullins.  She was an active member at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church. Donna was a graduate of J. J. Kelly High School in Wise, VA and earned her associates degree from Forsyth Technical Community College in Winston-Salem, NC.  Donna had retired from New Life Center in Walnut Cove, NC after being the Administrative Director for over 16 years.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved son, Jamie Lee Cable; brothers, Johnny and Isaac Hamilton, and Kelly Mullins; sisters, Betty Jean Mullins, Margie Burdette, and Linda VanAlstine. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, James Wayne Cable of Winston-Salem, NC; brothers, Danny, Doug, and Ronnie Mullins; sister, Sue Gobble; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other friends and family. She had a special bond with Brian and Rebecca Gallimore and was a devoted Nana to James 'Briley' and Jacob Gallimore. Although Donna is no longer with us, she will live forever in our hearts. Funeral services celebrating Donna's life will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, May 1, 2022, at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church with Pastor Eric Tang officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
