Mr. Donald “Don” Charles Lough, 68, passed away Monday, September 9, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born on August 16, 1951 to the late Charles Lough and Maria D’Augustino. Mr. Lough served in the U.S. Army for three tours of duty during the Vietnam War. He worked as a consultant for many years in computer programming. Mr. Lough was a passionate Boy Scout Leader and an NRA instructor. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Preceding him in death was a sister, Micaela Lough Robert. Surviving is his wife of 36 years, Lily Lough; son, Michael Donovan Lough and wife, Courtney and their children, Miranda and Donovan Lough all of New Port Richey, Florida; son, Daniel Anthony Lough and wife, Rachael of Lewisville; two sisters, Hilda Lough Taylor and Alessandra Lough-Salvadori and husband, Roberto; brother, David Lough; also surviving are several loving nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Friday, September 13, 2019 at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel. Full military honors will be held at 5:00 PM by the VFW Memorial Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 7027 Albert Pick Rd. Suite 104, Greensboro, NC 27409.
