Donald Lee Tilley

Walnut Cove - Mr. Donald Lee Tilley, 58, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, June 26, 2012. He was born in Forsyth Co. November 6, 1953 to Betty Yates Tilley and the late Junior William Tilley. Donald retired from RJR Tobacco Company after 39 yrs of service, he loved his lake home and his farm, ""Grey Fox Farm"". Mr. Tilley was a lover of motorcycles, sports cars, and animals. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his son, Donald Gray Tilley, Grandparents, John and Lucy Tilley, and Joseph and Mary Yates. Surviving are; his mother, Betty Tilley of Winston Salem, a brother; William Michael Tilley and wife Pat of Kernersville, a daughter in law, Amy Tilley, two grandchildren, Peyton and Ava Tilley, special family friends, Dale Ward and Family of Walnut Cove, Jean Devenny of Greenboro, and Charles Poss of Walnut Cove, his beloved Jack Russell Terriers, Julie, Jack, Jill, and his Australian Shephard, Chevelle. A Funeral Service will be conducted 2:00 PM Sunday, July 1, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor Herb Mabe officiating.
