Donald Dwayne Sloan

Mr. Donald Dwayne Sloan, 52, passed away November 21, 2016, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home surrounded by his family. He was born on April 11, 1964 to the late Donald Sloan & his living mother, Lillian C. Sloan. Mr. Sloan was a member of Ketner's Church of Christ. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by one nephew, Jeremy Bailey. Surviving are his wife, Wendy and his two children, Jamie & Travis (Courtney); three grandchildren, Noah, Lilly & Tucker; three sisters, Donna Bailey, Deana Frye (Steve), and Deedee Bowen (Todd); five nieces, Jean (Francis), Danielle (Cole), Hannah, Mackenzie, and Sloane; one nephew, Zachary (Meredith); and other family. The Sloan family would like to say a special thank you to Nana, Buddy McDonald, Leroy Hobson, and Alan Fletcher for their love and dedication to Mr. Sloan. Also, a special thank you to 9th Floor Oncology at Forsyth Medical Center and the amazing staff at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home for the love and care provided to Mr. Sloan. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, November 26, 2016, at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel. Interment will follow at Ketner's Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm on Friday, November 25, 2016, at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel.
