Mr. Donald James ""Jim"" Robbins, 64, of Pfafftown died Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born May 4, 1944 in Forsyth County. Mr. Robbins was of the Baptist Faith and retired from Hanes Brands following twenty years of service. He loved woodworking. He was preceded in death by his mother, Glestie Robbins Turner and a favorite uncle, Lee Robbins. Survivors include his wife, Geneva Robbins of the home; two daughters, Melissa Soto of Louisville, KY and Teresa Miller of Winston-Salem; one son, Donald Livengood of Winston-Salem; four grandchildren, Beth Livengood, Amber Livengood, D. J. Livengood and Nicole Agner all of Winston-Salem; and one brother, Raymond Lee Cox of High Point. A memorial service will be conducted Friday at 3:00 p.m. at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Tim Gammons officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
