Mr. Donald Ray Robbins, 72, of Winston-Salem, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at High Point Regional Hospital. He was born September 4, 1937 to Earlie and Ethel Thompson Robbins. Mr. Robbins was a former member of Sprague Street Baptist Church, and a longtime member of Friedland Moravian Church. He was manager of R&B Auto Supply, but retired from Robbins Sandblasting and Auto Parts. He enjoyed a great game of golf, old cars, and was a Mason. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dorothy Robbins; two brothers, E.A. Robbins, Jr. and Buddy Robbins. Surviving is a sister, Dallas Martin and husband Holland; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, October 25 at Friedland Moravian Church with the Rev. Wally Yarbrough and the Rev. Carol Foltz officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorials Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
