Donald 'Big Val' Edward Myers

Donald Edward ""Big Val"" Myers, 72, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away Tuesday, August 09, 2011 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Donald was born February 12, 1939 in Forsyth County to Raymond Edward Myers and Martha Edwards Myers. He was retired from Piedmont Concrete Company and was a member of the Jokers Motorcycle Club, the AA and ARCA. He was preceded in death by his father, and a sister, Carol Sue Stone. Surviving are his mother, Martha Edwards Myers of Kernersville, three daughters; Patricia Jester and husband, Alvin of Winston-Salem, Linda Mullinax and husband, Bill of Stallings, NC, Brenda Jordan and husband, Tommy of Monroe, NC, 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 4 sisters, Mary Dunlap, Martha Franklin, Hazel Frye and Mabel Binkley. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. A Memorial Service will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday, August 11 at Baux Mountain Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Bob Jeune.
