Donald Joseph Jones

Mr. Donald Joseph Jones, 67, of Clemmons passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born May 19, 1943 in Kingsport, TN to Jack Glansville and Ida Gulley Jones. Mr. Jones was retired from the Forsyth County Sherriff's Department with 26 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Jane L. Jones of the home; a daughter, Donnelle Vaughn and husband Mark of Winston-Salem; a son, Jonathan Jones of Clemmons; four grandchildren, Justin Vaughn, and Andrew, Meghan and Emilee Jones; a great grandson, Julius Vaughn and three brothers, Billy Jones and wife Edna, Gary Jones and Michael Jones and wife Barbara. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2011 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel with Chaplain Glenn Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Westlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kate B.
