Donald Edward Hall, Sr.

Mr. Donald Edward Hall, 89, passed away March 12, 2015 at Brookridge Retirement Community. He was born October 30, 1925 in Forsyth County to the late Joseph Clayton Hall and Vera Thomerson Hall. He served three tours in the U.S. Air Force retiring as Colonel after 28 years of service. Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Gray Hall. He is survived by his son, Donald E. Hall, Jr. of Winston-Salem; two daughters, Sue Ann Mackin of St. Marys, GA and Carole Michelle Hall-Smith of Winston-Salem; six grandchildren, Braedon, Brinleigh, Chandler, Sarah, Sally and Hailey; four great-children; his sister, Betty Gail Damke of St. Cloud, FL. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Monday, March 16, 2015 at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
