Donald Wright Fishel

Donald Wright Fishel, 76, passed away on February 27, 2015 at his home. Donald was born on August 22, 1938 to Gladys Shore Fishel and Emory J. Fishel in Forsyth County. He enjoyed old cars, especially Dodge, Plymouth, Chrysler, and all Mopar products. He liked to target shoot with his friends, and loved baseball, the Atlanta Braves, in particular. But more than anything, he cherished time spent with his twin grandchildren and watching them play various sports. He was known as ""PA"" to all who loved him. In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by two brothers, Emory Fishel, Jr. and Ernest Fishel. Survivors include his son, Andy Fishel (Connie); grandchildren, Emma and Jacob Fishel; sister, Nancy Mantell; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Gardens of Memory.
