Donald Edgar Fink, Jr.

KERNERSVILLE-Donald Edgar Fink, Jr., 84, a very loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at his home. He was born March 9, 1931 in PA to the late Donald Edgar Fink, Sr. and Gladys Hugar Fink. After serving in the Vietnam War and receiving the Bronze Star, Donald retired from the United States Air Force as a Master Sergeant; he later retired after 20 years of employment with the United States Postal Service. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his two daughters, Dottie and Donna Fink; brother, Ronnie Fink and a sister, Patty Conrad. Surviving are his beloved wife of 63 years, Dorothy Evon Fink; three daughters, Brenda (Richard) Duhon, Debra Fink, Terri (Scott) Norman; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Joyce Gates and Sandy Badorrek. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Randy Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory in Kernersville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
